HyET Hydrogen is a leading SME in the field of electrochemical hydrogen processing technologies. The company’s headquarters is located in Arnhem, the Netherlands and is operated by an experienced interdisciplinary team. Our mission is to reduce compression and purification costs of hydrogen to facilitate affordable prices for end-users. Since 2008 we have been developing electrochemical hydrogen compression and extraction technologies that enable our clients to build reliable and cost-effective hydrogen storage and transport systems.

HyET Hydrogen is part of the HyET Group which offers a wide range of products and services including light-weight PV Solar foils, low-cost technologies for green and blue hydrogen production and efficient carbon-capture technologies. These technologies foster the large-scale implementation of renewable and decentralised energy infrastructures.

The Role

HyET Hydrogen is looking for an ambitious and energetic Sales Operations Specialist to help us expand and maintain our global customer base. We are currently engaged in the development and growth of profitable new business leads; develop and maintain effective key customer relationships as well as ensure revenue growth through directing and managing business development activities. Our goal is to drive sustainable revenue growth by forging strong relationships with clients and boosting sales. You will engage in technical and operational support to sales processes in order to effectively provide the Business Development team with technical and commercial information and services needed to generate and expedite business leads.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify and target services and products for particular customers & market segments.
  • Oversee the administration of lead development and client communications and keeps track of sales & revenue forecast, invoices etc.
  • Build-out and maintain HyET’s CRM database and integration with business intelligence tools.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans aimed to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
  • Develop sales presentations, conduct seminars/webinars and participate in meetings with clients and external vendors.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing our client’s objectives.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and ensure offered scope is aligned with HyET’s operations and technical departments.
  • Conduct market research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Keep abreast with the latest technology developments within HyET and recognize new business opportunities.
  • Benchmark HyET’s products with state-of-the-art practices in order to recommend on profit and product improvements.
  • Develop a growth strategy for specific market-products combinations, focused on revenue gain and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Higher Vocational Education (BSc / MSc / MBA) in a relevant discipline preferably in engineering or technical business.
  • Proven working experience (between 2 – 5 years) in a technical commercial role (e.g. business developer, business analyst, sales engineer or another relevant technical-commercial role
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (notably Excel) as well as in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot e.a.)
  • Experience with Business intelligence tools (e.g. QlikSense, Tableau, etc) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the English language; 1 or more extra language is a plus.
  • Pro-active attitude and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Excellent reporting skills.
